New Service for Corporate User Members: askRUC
The Research Users Council has just put into operation a new service for Corporate Research Users. askRUC is an exciting new tool from the MRIA available only to Corporate User members. It's designed to allow a user/buyer of research services, to reach out to fellow user/buyers and seek advice, obtain referrals, get reactions to anything that you can put into an email format query in a secure on-line environment. The Toronto Chapter Christmas celebration, held on December 12th, 2006 at the Rosewater Supper Club in Toronto was a great success! Research colleagues and clients got together for a fun-filled evening with a great dinner and prizes! MRIA President, Nik Nanos meets with MRIA Atlantic Chapter - completing a nation-wide tour
The Atlantic chapter of the MRIA was very pleased to host a luncheon featuring MRIA President, Nik Nanos, as speaker on Tuesday, December 12, 2006. Nik visited our area as part of his nation-wide President's Tour and it was a great opportunity for our members to hear him in person. Topics included MRIA objectives across Canada for the coming year and the audience asked questions about issues of concern to us in the Atlantic region.
