CRTC’s latest News Release on the
National Do Not Call List.

From our industry’s perspective, this is a superb Release. Note how market research, polls, and surveys warrant their own paragraph to describe our special/unique exempted status, and the clear distinction the CRTC makes between exempt telemarketers and survey research organizations.

The ideal positioning we’ve received in this Release is a dividend from our long-term relationship-building with the CRTC, and our direct liaison and engagement with its DNCL team, including inviting them to put on teleconference presentations for our members. The DNCL folks were well-pleased with the interactivity of the two teleconference presentations in August, and with the number of excellent questions our members raised.
