Free National Do Not Call List “What You Need To Know” Teleconference Presentations Exclusively For MRIA Members in October

Canada’s long-anticipated National Do Not Call List (NDNCL) is scheduled to launch on Tuesday, September 30, 2008, and calls made for survey and public opinion research are fully exempt. 

MRIA has teamed up with the CRTC to offer some teleconference presentations, exclusively for MRIA members, about the coming NDNCL and what survey research companies need to know.

CALLING ALL ASPIRING MEMBERS!!!

NOW is the time to join as new Individual or Corporate members

MRIA introduces pro-rated membership dues and fees for first-time members of the Association, which will be available from June 26 to December 31, 2008 at the following discounted rates:

  • New Individual members can join for six months at the reduced rate of $189 (plus $60 Activation Fee plus GST). Please inform your friends and colleagues in the industry, and enroll your new employees so they can start receiving the benefits of MRIA membership.
  • New Corporate representatives can join for six months, at the reduced rate of $189 (plus GST), which includes an Individual membership for the Corporate representative (a $60 Initiation Fee still applies). Preferred Research Registration fees have also been pro-rated for this six-month period.

School of Marketing Research Renamed;
And Other Key Education and CMRP Changes Approved

MRIA Secures 15% Discount for Members on 2008 ESOMAR Congress Registration Fees

Your Association has partnered with ESOMAR to bring MRIA members a 15% discount on registration fees for the upcoming Frontiers 2008 ESOMAR Annual Congress, the world’s largest marketing research industry conference, which is being held in Montreal from Monday, September 22 to Thursday, September 25.

This attractive discount applies to the Congress registration fee in effect at the time of registration, and applies to both the “ESOMAR Member” and “ESOMAR Non-Member” rates.  The discount does not apply to registration fees for the pre-Congress Workshops. Click here for complete details.

Chapter visits by MRIA President John Ball and Executive Director Brendan Wycks planned for September

Your Association is finalizing dates for Chapter visits by MRIA President John Ball and Executive Director Brendan Wycks.  Our objective is to visit all seven Chapters in the month of September, given that one of the main subjects of John’s presentation will be the national do not call list and, ideally, we want to use the Chapter visits as an opportunity to get our message about the national DNCL out to members before it launches on September 30. A separate eBlast will be sent to all members once dates are firm.
