Get on Course!: A Year in Review

The 2004/2005 MRIA School of Marketing Research year is ending with a bang as the MRIA will be hosting two courses at this year's annual conference in Halifax - Measuring Brand Equity and Advanced Qualitative Research: Intro to Semiotics: How Symbols, Packaging, & Advertising Communicate - both on Wednesday, June 22nd.

In response to the many requests from members, we are going to review our course outline and consider adding new, more advanced courses to our line-up for next year. Topics for courses we are considering include advanced semiotics, conjoint analysis, and advanced SPSS training. If there is a topic we haven't covered in our course curriculum, please let us know! Your ideas are important in continuing to develop a solid course curriculum that reflects the trends in the industry as well as our members' interests. Continues...

A Tribute to Joe Doyle - an Evening to remember

A large number of MRIA members as well as friends and family gathered at the Ontario Club in Toronto on June 8, 2005, to honour Joe Doyle who founded the PMRS on the same day 45 years ago. Guest speaker and author, Michael Adams, made a special presentation, based on his best-selling book, "Fire and Ice: The U.S., Canada, and the Myth of Converging Values".
