The MRIA School of Marketing Research is expanding - Can you teach?
Vice-President of Education Tracy Bowman and the MRIA education committee are looking to develop new courses and seminars on a variety of research topics. If you are an experienced teacher and have an idea or subject that you would like to present, than let us know. We are accepting proposals for the 2005/2006 educational year and would like to hear your ideas.

It can be a proposal for a full day course, a half day course or a two hour seminar. Just send a proposed course outline, with the title, prospective audience (supplier, buyer, number of years in business, etc.), and a resume to Ric Hobbs (Education Committee).

We are open to any and all proposals and are specifically looking for courses aimed at experienced researchers in qualitative research, On-line Research, and advanced statistical analysis using SPSS. Kindly, let us know about your interest before June 17th.

MRIA QRD & QRCA, the two leading associations of qualitative suppliers and clients in Canada, have joined forces to provide a truly exciting and informative conference for members of both organizations. We are now pleased to announce that the first QRD & QRCA Joint Conference will be held in Toronto on September 16th, 2005.

Call for Papers
We are currently seeking speakers to present at this new and innovative conference. Two keynote speakers and presenters for breakout sessions are required. Any topic consistent with the theme: "Innovative Perspectives in Qualitative Research" will be considered.

    Prairie Chapter Luncheon on May 26 a BIG success! The PowerPoint presentation for the May 26 Luncheon, featuring MRIA National President Don Mills highlighting the challenges facing the marketing research and intelligence industry, is now available for downloading. A panel of local experts, Peter Sawatzky and Scott MacKay, responded, while MRIA Executive Director Brendan Wycks moderated the panel.

    Congratulations to Grant Meder of Manitoba Hydro, winner of the Prairie Chapter sponsored trip to the National MRIA Conference in Halifax June 19-21, 2005. Grant's name was drawn by National President, Don Mills, at the May 26 luncheon.
