MRIA Press Release: April 11, 2005
Nine in Ten Canadians support market and survey research

TORONTO - Eighty-seven percent of Canadians believe that market and survey research serves a valuable societal purpose, but deceptive telemarketing practices by unscrupulous direct sellers and fundraisers remain a threat to the goodwill that Canadians have for survey research, according to a national poll by the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association (MRIA), a national industry Association.

The complete Press Release and Research Report can be found on the MRIA website.
