These signs are designed to replace similar signs produced by one of MRIA's predecessor associations, the Professional Marketing Research Society, to encourage respondents to show identification before being admitted to participate in marketing research studies.

To download your PDF copy of this sign (both English and French are available), click here. For those who do not have a colour printer, MRIA can provide you with a colour version of the English and French signs. The nominal fee is $15/card, which covers postage, printing and handling. Calling all knowledge workers!

By Cam Davis, Editor-in-Chief, CJMR

The editorial board debated whether to continue to call the CJMR a "journal" because such a descriptor might intimidate potential authors. Journals serve ivory tower institutions very well and there has to be a vehicle in which professors have to publish.

Notwithstanding, the Canadian "Journal" of Marketing Research is mandated to serve practitioners first and foremost. To that end, I am inviting research practitioners to submit articles by February 28, 2006. If you want to submit an outline beforehand, I would be pleased to respond. If you have recently given a PowerPoint presentation at a conference and would like to write an article based on the slides, send me the slides for feedback. Cam Davis, editor, cdav@pollara.ca.

Share the knowledge!

By Stuart Hemerling, Editor-in-Chief, Vue Magazine

We encourage all VUE readers to submit articles, letters and ideas. Please e-mail VUE Editor Stuart Hemerling at shemerling@prophis.com, indicating the topic on which you are interested in sharing your views or experience. Submissions should be between 600 and 1,200 words in length and should focus on topics relevant to the market research and intelligence industry in Canada.

Share your expertise and knowledge... VUE is considering articles on a wide range of topics for our May 2006 edition. The article submission deadline is March 20th, 2006.
