Results of 2006 Financial Survey Show Canadian Industry Is Growing At a Healthy Pace

Size matters!

Ever wonder about the size of the marketing research industry in Canada? According to the MRIA Research Agency Council (RAC)’s latest Annual Financial Health of the Industry Survey, our industry is alive and growing!

The results of our 2006 Annual Financial Health of the Industry Survey indicate that total gross billings in the industry that year were $719 million, an increase of about 6% over 2005. Gross billings include $108 million that was conducted within the industry for other Canadian marketing research firms, so the total net billings in 2006 were approximately $611 million.
