Since the AGM in November and the decision to complete the merger of PMRS, CAMRO and the CSRC, there has been feverish activity in all the portfolios pulling all the pieces together and building a program that reflects our new association both to members and our many stakeholders. MRIA Membership

All PMRS and CAMRO members, and those participating in CSRC survey registration have been transferred to the MRIA as of January 1, 2005. We hope you will continue to support the marketing research industry by topping up your individual memberships to cover the full 2005 membership year and consider signing your company on as a Corporate Member of the MRIA. Individual memberships will lapse as of June 30, 2005 unless fees are topped up to cover the remainder of the year. Write articles for Vue Magazine

Welcome to Vue, the official magazine for Canada's market research and intelligence industry. Months of hard work by the editorial, design and administrative teams have been put into the launch of Vue, which replaces the PMRS Imprints magazine. We encourage all VUE readers to submit articles, letters and ideas to the editor. Please e-mail VUE Editor Nikita James Nanos at nnanos@sesresearch.com indicating the topic on which you are interested in sharing your views or experience. Submissions should be between 600 and 1,200 words in length and should focus on topics relevant to the market research industry in Canada.

Share your expertise and knowledge... VUE is considering articles on a wide range of topics for our April edition. The article submission deadline is February 20th, 2005.

Until February 28, 2005, all research and intelligence agencies are invited to visit the Research Buyer's Guide on-line form to update your information and renew or buy a listing.

The "Research Buyer's Guide", published annually by the PMRS and now by the MRIA, is THE reference guide to the research industry in Canada. This publication includes detailed listings of research companies in hard copy and on our web site, allows keyword searches to anyone wanting to buy research and intelligence services. Included as a membership benefit, the 2004 book edition was distributed to more than 1900 recipients, free of charge.
