Janine Keogh

Janine holds the position of Vice President, Consumer Insight & Strategy, Kraft Canada. She leads a group of 25 talented insight & analytic professionals who are responsible for influencing and inspiring consumer & shopper centric actions for Kraft Canada. She is a member of Kraft Foods Global Insights Leadership Team, and sits on Kraft Canada’s Executive Team. She joined Kraft in 1995 after working on the agency side including BBM ComQuest, DJC Research & Birch Scarborough VNU. She holds a Master of Arts from Washington State University, and a Bachelor’s degree from University of Calgary. She is serving on the MRIA Board of Directors and as MRIA Membership Chair.

 

 

Norman Baillie-David, MBA, CMRP

Vice President, TNS Canada

Norman Baillie-David is Vice President and Director of Public Opinion Research for TNS Canada, Head of Qualitative and Strategy, and leader of the Canadian firm’s public sector and social research practice.  Norm is a well respected marketing researcher and management consultant with more than twenty five years of experience in qualitative and quantitative marketing research and strategic management consulting in Canada and around the world. Norm is an accomplished bilingual (English/French) focus group moderator, as well as a strategy workshop facilitator. 

Norman has been an active member of MRIA and PMRS since the beginning of his career.  Throughout his career, Norman has worked ardently to engage young Canadians in the personal and social benefits of responding to marketing and opinion research requests (by volunteering in classes and speaking at on-campus events several times per year).  He also currently presides over several major on-going studies which command minimum response rates as high as 50%.

He has served on chapter executives in Montreal, and more recently in Ottawa, culminating in the role of Chapter President in 2002-03, and Past-President thereafter.  Norman is an often sought-after speaker.  He manages the TNS Canada Consumer Confidence Index and regularly appears in Canadian media.  He is a regular guest lecturer on topics related to marketing research and international business at the University of Ottawa, Carleton University, and the marketing research programs at Algonquin College and the Cégep de l’Outaouais.  

Norman holds and MBA in Marketing and International Business and a B.A. (Honours) in Political Science. When not sitting in an airport somewhere, Norman enjoys life in the National Capital with his wife Helen and three boys.

Rasheeda Qureshi

Vice President, Client Development at Research Now

Rasheeda Qureshi is Vice President, Client Development at Research Now Canada. Since January 2010 Rasheeda has led the Canadian Client Development team through growth and consolidation of their leadership position in the online market research space in Canada. She is responsible for the overall management of major Canadian market research agency clients.

Prior to her current role, Rasheeda was Account Director at Research Now, leading a team of Account Managers, helping establish the company’s reputation and solid client base. Before taking on her leadership roles at RN, Rasheeda held project management and supplier development positions at Ipsos ASI from 1998 to 2003, where she led hundreds of research projects.

Rasheeda has developed extensive expertise in a broad range of study types, emerging technologies and key issues as they pertain to the state of the online research industry. In addition to this Rasheeda is an experienced presenter, leading and supporting training initiatives at Research Now. Rasheeda is a member of the Market Research and Intelligence Association (MRIA), and a Director on the Research Agency Council for the MRIA.

Kristin Luck

President, Decipher

As President of Decipher, a market research services firm, Kristin Luck serves as Decipher’s brand evangelist.

Kristin was one of the original pioneers of the multi-media online research business over 12 years ago when she joined ACNielsen to assist in the development of proprietary capabilities for testing full screen video and other multi-media materials securely online.

As the Co-Founder of OTX (Online Testing Exchange), Kristin Luck built and managed the operational and client management infrastructure for a start-up online market research firm that became the fastest growing research company in the US in 2002 and 2003. In 2006, Kristin started Forefront Consulting Group, a research services consulting firm. Forefront was acquired in June 2007 by Decipher.

Kristin has over 15 years of management experience in both domestic and international custom market and social science research and is a regular speaker at industry conferences and a columnist for Research Business Report where she explores emerging research methods. She’s a 2010 recipient of the American Marketing Association’s 4 Under 40 Award and was recently named to Oregon’s 40 Under 40.

Shane Skillen

Founder and CEO, Hotspex

Shane Skillen is the Founder and CEO of Hotspex, a 95-person company that is changing the business world's understanding of the 'why behind the buy'. He is on the MRIA National Board and leads the Marketing Portfolio with the objective to help build interest in Marketing Research in Canada. He recently begun working with key industry leaders to help improve response rates across Canada primarily though innovations in respondent engagement measurement. He graduated from the Richard Ivey School of Business and is a frequent lecturer at conferences and universities. He likes to ski, golf, read and spend time with his two little boys.
